Hunter Quarry Essences Locations - SW Jedi Survivor Guide

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Hunter’s Quarry Essences are very useful collectibles that, in this case, will increase your Maximum Force and give you an extra Skill Point.

In addition, the two Essences collectibles are mandatory if you are aiming for 100% completion in Hunter’s Quarry area.

The problem is that the collectibles are locked behind two small puzzles, and for one of them, you need the Force Lift ability, which you learn by progressing with the main story.

But no worries because, as always, we got your back, and throughout the following guide, we’ll explain how to get the SW Jedi Survivor Hunter’s Quarry Essences collectibles.

Koboh Hunter’s Quarry Essences Locations Map

First, you need to know where to look; hence, if you don’t have the Essences Map Upgrade, we’ve marked the locations of the two Essences on the Hunter’s Quarry map below.

Now let’s see how exactly you can get the two collectibles.

Essence #1 (Skill Point): In A Corridor

For the first SW Jedi Survivor Essence in Hunter’s Quarry, you have to start from the SW Jedi Survivor Rambler’s Reach Outpost Meditation Point.

Then facing the settlement, turn left to see a wall covered with vines you must climb.

Once up, look slightly to the right to see a yellow structure in the distance.

Head to it to find a gate you can open with Force Lift by pressing +/+ on your PlayStation/Xbox controller.

Now head inside, then go forward until you get to a hole where you must jump to the wall on the other side to reach the bottom safely.

Then get on the round platform nearby and face the ramp. Be careful not to stand too much in the weird dust on the ground, or you’ll die.

Make your way to the ramp, jump to the other round platform, and look for an orb device in the corridor to the left.

Use the Force (hold /) to grab the orb, then throw it to the first platform (press /).

Jump back on the ramp and use the Force to get the orb in the socket on the first platform, but note that you must move quickly.

As you can see, you have a way out of the cave now because of the ray coming out of the orb.

Take a breather, then grab the ball device again, and while holding it, go down the stairs. Notice that the killing dust can’t stay around the orb.

Continue holding the ball and head into the room to the left to place it in the socket here.

Then look around for the corridor where the first Star Wars Jedi Survivor Hunter’s Quarry Essence is located, as shown in the next image.

Move fast through the dust and grab the collectible to get an extra Skill Point.

Essence #2 (Force Essence): Inside A Small Cave

Upon obtaining Essence #1, head out of the cave, then go to the right hugging the mountain wall until you reach a couple of water pools.

Keep hugging the wall and go through the water. Climb the ledges, and you’ll soon reach a wall to the right side that you can run on.

So wall run, then double jump to grab the ledge and head left.

Jump to the other ledge, then to the vines on the wall, and make your way left as much as you can, then drop down.

Now enter the building next to you through the hole in the roof and go down the ramp.

Note that inside this building, you have one of the two SW Jedi Survivor Hunter’s Quarry Treasures and two of the nine Databanks available in the same area.

Now once you’re down the ramp, turn left to see a device BD-1 can slice to make a Roller Mine appear in the room.

Make the mine follow you back up the ramp and head to the right.

You’ll see the exit out of this room on the right side, which is blocked, and to clear the way, you must throw the mine into the obstacle using the Force.

Then go make another Roller Mine follow you all the way to the pools of water from earlier, and just before you reach them, you can see another obstacle blocking the way inside a cave.

Blast this obstacle with the mine as well to reveal the second Essence collectible inside the small cave.

Grab the Essence to increase your maximum Force, and you’re done. Both Star Wars Jedi Survivor Hunter’s Quarry Essences collectibles are yours.
