Kardashian Christmas Cards Through the Years: Photos

Perhaps no celebrity family takes Christmas more seriously than the Kardashian-Jenners, from their over-the-top holiday decor and elaborate Elf on the Shelf displays to their unique gift-wrapping methods (Skims fabric, anyone?) and the Christmas eve blowout bash that's a coveted invitation.

2022

Though this wasn't technically the Kardashian-Jenner's official holiday card, any rare opportunity for almost the whole busy family to be photographed together is a cause to celebrate. Kim shared this ultra-glam shot from Kris' legendary annual get-together that included all of her sisters — then shut down speculation they were all photoshopped together by sharing a video of the moment they all posed for the pic.

2021

It was a supremely cozy Christmas for the Skims-clad clan in 2021; their holiday shoot featured Kim Kardashian and her kids North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm; Kris Jenner and her granddaughter Dream, and Khloé Kardashian and her daughter True.

2019

By 2019, the whole Kardashian/Jenner clan was too big (and too busy) to wrangle, so they decided to release their own family shots instead. Kim revealed her crew's card on Dec. 13 — a sweet, low-key snap starring then-husband Kanye West and their four kids, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, which also marked the family of six's first public photo all together.

Why strike out on their own? "Last year when Kim organized it, there was a lot of complaining. It really stressed her out. She was over the drama and decided to do one for just her family this year," a source told PEOPLE.

2018

Four of the five sisters (sorry, Kendall) squeezed onto a couch with all of their kids (as well as Rob's daughter, Dream) for a cute and chaotic Christmas card issued from Khloé Kardashian's account.

2017

After skipping 2016, the family made 2017 quite the event, revealing a 'piece' of the card every day via social media, until a final card was shared at Christmas. This time it was all about the KarJenner women and their kids; however, a pregnant Kylie Jenner sat this one out.

2015

After skipping a 2014 card and riding out a tumultuous year, the Kardashian-Jenners decided to go back to basics in 2015 and settled on a sweet, simple photo of the youngest family members. Set against a plain white backdrop, North West and her cousins (from left) Penelope, Mason and Reign Disick got their moment in the spotlight, wearing coordinating chic black outfits. Most conspicuously missing, though, was the newest addition, Saint West – although considering he was only a few weeks old, he might not have been ready to be the center of attention just yet.

2008/2015

Kourtney Kardashian got fans in the festive spirit on Christmas Eve 2015 with a very merry throwback photo of the famous family decked out in their holiday finest.

It was all about the girls in this 2008 snapshot, in which Khloé, Kendall, Kylie, Kim, Kris and Kourtney stood out in dramatic shades of red, while Caitlyn and Rob kept it simple in classic black suits. "We have a lot of traditions in our family, but I think our family Christmas card tradition is one of my favorites," Kim wrote at the time.

2015

Can you spot baby Saint West? Kourtney also shared an illustrated family Christmas card on Instagram in 2015. (And those ornaments lend an entirely new meaning to "family tree.")

2013

The family's 2013 card was a lot to take in. The David LaChapelle-shot neon carnival extravaganza seemed to send the message that the Kardashians' lives are a constant media circus. That year's significant others Kanye West, Lamar Odom and Scott Disick weren't featured, and most notably, brother Rob Kardashian was MIA. And if anyone can explain the meaning of featuring Caitlyn Jenner in a glass tube that reads "Cashier," we're all ears.

2011

The 2011 greeting came with a special twist – it was available in 3D! The image depicted the gang all dressed up in black tie attire, and was missing one person: Kris Humphries, whom Kim had filed for divorce from just one month before the card was released.

2010

The Kardashian-Jenner clan reached new heights with their glamorous 2010 Christmas card, which featured Scott Disick and then-baby Mason for the first time. "Our card this year might be my favorite," Khloé wrote on her blog. "Mason is in it, which makes it even more special. Look at him standing there in his pinstripe suit."

2009

One of these things is not like the other. "What is Ryan Seacrest doing in the pic!!?" Kim wrote on her blog of the family's 2009 photo, taken at Khloé and Lamar Odom's September nuptials. "I love you to death, Ryan, but it's a bit of a stretch to call you a member of the Kardashian family, don't you think?"

2006

Sand, surf ... the Kardashian-Jenners! "The beach Christmas card was a fun change of pace for us," Kim wrote of this Christmas portrait from 2006. "Since we live in Los Angeles, we had to do a Christmas card in Malibu!"

1995

And baby makes 9! Newborn Kendall made her debut in this Christmas card featuring Brandon, Casey and Burt Jenner alongside step-siblings Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob. "I was 16 years old here!" Kim wrote. "We decided to have a little more fun with it and made our good family friend Ron Hardy dress up as Santa!"

Mwah-wy Christmas! The Kardashian-Jenner family puckered up for this photo, taken sometime in Kendall and Kylie's preteen years, which bore the inscription "Life is not measured by the breaths you take, by the moments that take your breath away."

In 2023, Kylie shared it to her Instagram as her "favorite family Xmas card."

Even back then the Kardashians seemed to know they were going places – just check out their ride! This vintage Christmas card featuring all of the Jenner and Kardashian kids in, yes, matching leather jackets proved one thing: The Hells Angels better watch out. "Just us eight kids, our parents, our dog Harley, and our Harley Davidson," Khloé wrote.

Cowabunga, dude! For their first holiday together as a blended family, the Kardashians and the Jenners gave Christmas a comic twist. "My mom decided that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was going to be the theme and we all had to wear black velvet with red lips!" Kim wrote.

Where there's a Kardashian, there's always drama! In this formal photo of Kim, Rob, Kourtney and Khloé with their late father Robert, Kim wrote, "Look how they spelled Khloé's name...'Kholé.' Honestly, it looks like our family can never quite get our family Christmas cards right!"
