Maria Harfanti Wins Miss Indonesia 2015

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Maria Harfanti from Yogyakarta was crowned as Miss Indonesia 2015 in the final event of the Beauty Pageant Contest on Monday, February 16, 2015. She will then replace Miss Indonesia 2014 Maria Rahajeng.

Harfanti was being crowned by her predecessor Rahajeng, along with Miss World 2014 Rolene Strauss. In the final, Harfanti defeated two other contestants; Yona Luvitalice Miagan from Papua and Savina Wibowo from South Sumatra.

Harfanti said that she will promote Indonesian culture if she wins the contest. She also said that she will start using Indonesian products and asking other people to do the same.
