John and Hilary Simkins welcomed their son Maxwell into the world in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the United States. He is the oldest of his family’s two boys, Oscar “Olee” Simkins, the actor’s younger brother, was born in 2011 and is his closest friend.

Due to his uncanny likeness to Sean Astin from The Lord of the Rings, the young actor has received a lot of media attention.

The day after his sixth birthday, on June 3, 2013, Maxwell Simkins began his acting career. Alongside Diane Keaton and Michael Douglas, he had his debut acting role in Rob Reiner’s movie And So It Goes. His breakthrough role as Zane in the Disney Channel television series Bizaardvark didn’t come until 2018, though.

He will start doing Little Boo’s voice in the Disney Junior comedic cartoon The Chicken Squad in 2022. In The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, he plays Nick Ganz. He traveled across the nation for the latter series to film in various areas, including his own Pennsylvania.

Simkins also performs as a rapper and songwriter. Together with Dakota Lotus, he released his debut single, Dear Mr. Bully, in 2019. The teenage rapper used the song, which was a part of his anti-bullying campaign, to talk openly about being bullied throughout his time at school. Following the release of this song, Maxwell began rapping as MaxABillion. Along with Dear Mr. Bully, he has only yet to release one more single. They Will Know My Name, his debut solo tune, has received over 2700 YouTube views.
