December is shaping up to be a busy month for Bollywood buffs. The month started with one of the biggest movie clashes of the year (after Gadar 2 and OMG 2) as Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal clashed with Vicky Kaushal-led Sam Bahadur. The film opened the month in cinemas. Towards the end of the month, Shah Rukh Khan’s final film for the year, Dunki is also set to release amidst much anticipation. Zoya Akgtar’s The Archies starring Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor, among others, is also set to release this week.Animal
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal was released in theatres on December 1, and the film continues to grab headlines. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and others, the film revolves around a man whose fractured relationship with his father leads him down a violent path.

Sam Bahadur
Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur sees Vicky Kaushal play India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The war biopic also sees Fatima Sana Shaikha play former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi while Sanya Malhotra plays Manekshaw’s wife Silloo.

The Archies
In The Archies, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is set to make her debut alongside the late Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The cast also includes Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Dot Saigal and Yuvraj Menda. Based on the popular Archie comics, the film is a musical.

Pankaj Tripathi starrer Kadak Singh is a crime thriller directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.
